When the time comes for you to obtain your BLS recertification, you will have to decide whether you want to opt for a land based or online course; many people are now opting for the latter for a wide variety of reasons. Our recertification BLS course is based on the American Heart Association guidelines, and we allow you to complete everything from the comfort of your very own home.
+BLS Course Study Materials Provided
Everything that a student needs to complete the course will be provided to them, so there is no need to go ahead and purchase any textbooks or other study materials. Once a student feels confident enough to take a BLS practice test, they can then take advantage of the tests that we have provided to them to determine whether they are ready to proceed onto the final exam.
+The Final Exam
In order to receive their certification, students will need to complete a final exam. The exam for BLS recertification can be taken at any time, day or night, and individuals will have up to unlimited chances to retake it. Once you have passed the exam, we will email you the BLS provider card that you can start using immediately. The formal card will be mailed to you within 1 working day.
In order to complete the final exam, individuals will need to obtain a mark of at least 80%. Since the test isn't timed, you don't have to worry about rushing through it; you can take your time and complete it at your leisure. After completing the BLS renewal course, students will receive 2 CEUs/CME credits that can be used at facilities throughout the country.
+BLS Certification and Recertification
Whether you are interested in BLS certification or recertification, you can opt for both qualifications online and the cards are similar to those obtained through land based institutions. Remember, in order to sign up for BLS renewal course, you will need to have taken the initial BLS Certification training at least once any time in the past. If you haven't completed this course before, you'll have to sign up for the certification to do so.
